THE SHARK IS BROKEN Cast Spotlight: Darcy Gibson

DARCY GIBSON (RICHARD DREYFUSS) has enjoyed every moment of preparing this show and his role of Richard Dreyfuss. Darcy’s most recent theatre project was Bigger Dreams’ production of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, for which he served as assistant director/stage manager/sound designer/sound engineer. Since the incorporation of Bigger Dreams, Darcy has appeared on stage in Moon Over Buffalo (Richard) and Misery (Buster). Prior to that he also appeared in the Bigger Boat/Stuff of Dreams productions of God of Carnage (Alan), Of Mice and Men (Curly), Never Too Late (Policeman) and Bigger Boat’s maiden voyage The Elephant Man (Treves), on which he also served as director. In addition, Darcy has been part of the local music scene for the last twenty-plus years. He currently records and performs with his brothers in the group Mr. Paperback (youtube.com/@mr.paperback) and will be seen very soon leading the band in Foothills’ upcoming production of Green Day’s American Idiot. Darcy lives in Worcester with his wife Jackie and their daughters Amelia and Chloe.
